Salom Powers Forward at CES 2026, Unveils New Charging Lineup

LAS VEGAS — The energy was electric at CES 2026 as the Salom Group, in collaboration with technology partner Iontra, showcased the future of power delivery. Hosted at the Iontra meeting rooms in the Venetian Tower, the event was a resounding success for Salom, drawing positive feedback from distributors and industry visitors alike.

Launching “Salom Simplicity”

A major highlight of the show was the announcement of the new Salom Simplicity charger line, set to launch later this year. Distributors and visitors showed strong interest in the new Salom 65W and 100W multiport chargers, offering valuable insights into the line’s color options and packaging direction. The enthusiasm surrounding these products confirms that the market is ready for the clean, efficient design philosophy that Simplicity represents.

A Strategic Partnership on Display

The collaboration between Salom and Iontra took center stage, specifically with the unveiling of the Salom Iontra 100W PD charger. This innovative device was not only a focal point at the Iontra meeting room but was also displayed at the ST Microelectronics showcase at the Wynn.

On the third day of the show, Salom CTO Dr. Jing Wang and Iontra’s Richard Howlett gave a joint presentation that underscored the depth of this partnership. Together, they explained the architecture behind the collaborative 100W PD charger—built by Salom and powered by Iontra’s charging technology. Dr. Wang and Mr. Howlett highlighted how this alliance is building a true charging platform, enabling Salom to embed Iontra’s charging tech to our charger builds to deliver faster, safer, and more sustainable power options to customers globally by unleashing their battery performance.

Industry Highlights

Beyond the meeting rooms, the team experienced the broader spectacle of CES 2026. A standout moment was the presentation by Lenovo at the Sphere, where they unveiled upcoming devices, a new AI assistant, and technology partnerships with chip giants Nvidia, Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm as well as exciting external collaborations with FIFA and Formula 1. The proliferation and integration of AI was a consistent theme at the CES show with exhibitors displaying AI embedded products throughout the booths. In the consumer power industry, convenience was a major theme. Many products included features like retractable cables and carrying straps. The wireless charging market continues to move forward with Qi2.2 and magnetic attachments.

Team Effort

The success of the event was driven by a dedicated leadership and support team. The delegation was led by Joseph Reisinger, President of Salom America Company (SECU), alongside Dr. Wang of Salom Electric Xiamen (SECC). Key contributions were made by SECU’s Johnathan White and Salom Group Marcom Leader Joshua Timm. Additionally, Henry Wang, who interned for the show, captured the energy of the event through his photography.

Looking Forward

The Salom Group leaves Las Vegas encouraged by the leads generated and the overwhelmingly positive response to the new charging products. If the show is any indicator, the year ahead promises to be a transformative one for Salom.
